The Pittsford Chamber proudly supports this captivating event!
Recapturing the spirit of the 1890s, the Pittsford Carriage Association’s annual Carriage Driving Competition at Walnut Hill Farm will be celebrating its 46th anniversary this year! The five-day event runs from Wednesday, 8/9 through Sunday, 8/13 and hosts hundreds of international competitors in more than 100 classes and divisions; it is the largest pleasure driving competition in the country.
Spectators can enjoy special demonstrations, presentations, and antique horse-drawn vehicles from tiny pony carts to huge road coaches – with riders and horses alike “turned out” in style for the competition! Held in a 19th century country fair setting, the event features a range of competitions and special exhibits – the fancy dress competition, the carriage dog competition and the Victorian-style picnic are sure to be crowd favorites! Don’t miss the Wegman’s Ascot Picnic Night on Friday (8/11) – it’s a fun evening for the whole family!
