On Saturday, April 21, members of the Pittsford Chamber of Commerce gathered at Schoen Place to be part of the Clean Sweep program that the NYS Canal Corp. puts on in recognizing Earth Day.

Chamber member Cornhill Navigation was one of the organizing teams. The Chamber partnered with them to spend two hours cleaning up debris along the Canal.

And as luck with have it, it was the first warm(er), sunny day we have had in a long time. What better way to help with the clean up efforts.

Thanks to John Adams (Fran Net), Glenn Gates (WCI Realty), Barb & Dan Karley (Canandaigua National Bank), Mike & Heather Nicthing (Regain Physical Therapy), Stephanie Townsend (Townsend Consulting & Town Board member), and Matt O’Connor (Town Board member) for their help in making Pittsford a beautiful community. And a BIG thank you to LF Fisher from Cornhill Navigation for organizing this Clean Sweep for 20 years in a row!

From the photos, you can see we were hard at work, but also had fun at the same time!
